Ron Paul supporters: Have you registered as Republicans?

I see a lot of Ron Paul supporters out there, but I wonder how many of them have registered as Republicans so they can vote for him in the primary? How many of them know if they need to register as a Republican? Before Ron Paul can run for President, he needs to win the nomination of the Republican party, something a lot of people are forgetting.

Now I’ve made it simple and have created a table listing each state, whether their primary is open or closed, and when it will be held. So grab a stamp and envelope, print out your state’s voter registration form, and mail that puppy in. Take a bunch of stamps, envelopes, and voter registration forms to your next MeetUp. Tell everyone you know that they need to register to vote and register as a Republican so they can support Ron Paul in their primary.

The Swiss Confederation form of government is far better at limiting government and defending personal and financial liberties than what we have here in the US.

Go Ron Paul! Also, if you agree with Ron Paul please sign the petition to Abolish the Federal Reserve.

Now in August 2007, the world financial systems and investment markets, real estate and the availability of credit are all under direct assault due to past actions of the Federal Reserve in the United States.

Read and sign the Ron Paul Is Right – Abolish the Federal Reserve Petition at http://www.petitiononline.com/fed/petition.html

Please link to the petition and forward this message to your friends and help the general public wake up during the current financial panic conditions to the problems we face from the Federal Reserve and Ron Paul’s solution.

Also read comments from hundreds of signers who aren’t shy in saying what they think of the FED.

    Thanks,
Ron Holland, is author of on the new online book, The Swiss Preserve Solution at http://www.swissconfederationinstitute.org/swisspreserve10.htm and he lives at Wolf Laurel Resort in NC.

Great minds think alike! Just this morning I posted about people needing to register (or change their registration) to vote for Paul in the primaries over in my Applied Anarchy series.

I’m curious, does anyone have a list of what states require you to register with a party? I’ve never lived anywhere it was required to do so.

Thanks for the reminder; I knew I’d forgotten something and now’s the best time to do it. New York requires quite a bit of lead time, see below.

    To Change Your Party Affiliation
You can change your party affiliation by indicating the change on the voter registration application and sending it to the Board. We will process the change and send you a new voter card reflecting the change in party. You cannot CHANGE your enrollment and vote in the NEW PARTY of your choice in the same year.
Please note: a change of enrollment will go into affect AFTER the next November general election. The last day to change your enrollment is the same as the last day to register for the general election. (25 days prior to the general election).

The Deadline in New York is OCTOBER 12th,
    2007!

This is to switch your Registration to Republican.

Many states are around the same time!!!

This is not the same deadline as for new
    voters.

Please get this word out and post it at the top of this website!

    This is urgent people

Paul- You need to put a bold statement at the top!

    deadlines to Change your Registration
can ususally only be found out by calling
your local Board of Elections and asking them.
The deadline to change parties is NOT the same as the voter registration deadline.

New York and New Hampshire have a deadline
    of OCTOBER 12th 2007!

Call your local board of elections and find
out for sure, or you will not be able to vote in the primaries.

When you are sure-post a comment on this board so I can update the list.

I REALLY like Ron Paul, however, I did NOT register as a republican for the single reason that I feel republican vs democrat are just two sides of the SAME coin! I would so much like to vote for Ron Paul, but not as long as he remains REPUBLICAN. If he changes affiliation to being an INDEPENDENT, I would gladly vote for him above all others. As it is, my present intentions are to vote a straight INDEPENDENT ticket. I am TOTALLY fed up with both parties in power!!!!
    Thank you,

I didn’t have to - I’ve always been a Republican, and am glad we finally have somebody who I can vote for without holding my nose.
